Event Maker Faire Kyoto 2021
O'Reilly Japan has decided not to hold Maker Faire Kyoto 2020 onsite event in May 1 and 2 due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Instead, we are planning online event in May 1. Thanks for your understanding and we believe that this challenge can bring a successful experience to Makers in any location.

Call For Makers

Due to the current COVID-19 situation in Japan, we have decided not to accept Makers from abroad into Maker Faire Kyoto 2021 onsite event this year. Instead, we are planning some online programs which Maker in any location can participate in without an application.

How to participate Maker Faire Kyoto 2021 on Twitter

All you have to do is post on Twitter with the hashtags "#MFKyoto2021" and “#作品発表” means "share your works". Please note that there is a timetable for each category. Videos as well as photos are welcome. On the day of the event, we will also retweet as much as possible on the official Make: Japan (@make_jp)account.

As for the categories to be showed, participants are free to choose the category that best suits your project. If you would like to introduce your work on a service other than Twitter (YouTube, SlideShare, etc.), please put on URL in your Tweet.

13:00 Tweet Start (The official account will tweet the start of the MFkyoto2021! )
13:00-13:30 "Kids", "Education" and "Makey Paper Craft" categories
13:30-14:00 "FOOD" and "KYOTO" categories
14:00-14:30 "Design", "Craft", "Art" and "FAB" categories
14:30-15:00 "Mobility" and "Robotics" categories
15:00-15:30 "Electronics" and "Music" categories
15:30 End of the event (The official account will tweet the end of the event)
